  1. All animal and plant cells have a nucleus, cell membrane, ribosomes, golgi apparatus and cytoplasm

  2. All cells come in different shapes and sizes for different functions. Cells help to carry simple life processes such as growing.

  3. Most plants contains Chloroplast in their leaves but some plants like onions are exceptions.

  4. Cells are the simplest unit of life and they are usually so small that they can only be seen with a microscope. Cells can be classified into plant cells and animal cells. Both cells are made up of the cell membrane, cytoplasm and the nucleus but only the plant cell has the the cell wall. Cells increase in number through cell division, which helps multi-cellular organisms grow, or budding, which helps single-cellular organisms such as yeast reproduce. Cell division also helps to replace old and damaged cells. (5 sentences)

  5. The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of all known living organisms. It is the smallest unit of life that is classified as a living thing, and is often called the building block of life.

  6. Cells are the basic unit of life and thus, all living things are made up of 1 or more cells. Cells form more complex living things when working together, look at the human body for example. It is made of different types of cells.

  7. Cells are the basic unit of life. All living things are made of cells. Many cells make up tissues, many tissues make up organs and several organs make up a system.Different cells have different structures depending on their functions.

  8. Cells are the basic unit of life. The animal cell does not have a fixed shape while the plant cell does because the plant cell has a cell wall and also, a big vacuole to keep the cell firm. While the plant cell has a huge vacuole, the animal cell has many small vacuoles all around the cell. Some cells like the plant and animal cells cannot survive on their own without the other cells. But others like bacteria and paramecium can survive on their own, which is why they are known as single-cellular organisms.

  9. Cells are the basic blocks of all living things. Every living thing is either made up of one or many cells. Different cells has its different functions, the red blood cells transport oxygen around the body but the white blood cells help to fight viruses and bacteria. Some cells have less parts and some have more parts than a typical cell, with regards to its function, example, the plant root cell has no chloroplasts as it does not need to photosynthesize.

  10. Cells are the like the building block of life that helps us grow. It contains a nucleus, cytoplasm and cell membrane.

  11. Cells are what the Human body is made up of. It reproduces using cell division to allow Human growth.

  13. Cells are the basic unit of life so without cells, there will be no life. The components that make up a cell are the nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane and (for some cells) the chloroplast, cell wall and cell sap.The function of the nucleus is to control all the activities within the cell, the function of the cytoplasm is to allow substances to move around inside the cell and the function of the cell membrane is to allow substances to move in and out of the cell.Cells can reproduce by cell division or by budding(for yeast).

  14. Cells are the basic unit of life. All living things are made up of one or more cells. Each cell is specialised in their own way to carry out different activities. Most cells contains nucleus that stores DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), except the mammals' red blood cells. Most of them reproduce by cell division (binary fission or budding).

  15. Cells are the basic blocks of life and hence, are essential to our body. The basic structure of the animal cell contains the nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane while the plant cell has the following above inclusive of the cell wall and the chloroplast. Every single day, cell division takes place to replace dead or damaged cells. Genetic material is also being stored in the nucleus for the next generation.

  16. Cells are the units of life. Each cell has different functions, for example the nerve cells transmits messages from the brain to other parts of the body etc. Plant cells, fungi cells have cell walls but animal cells do not. Some plant cells have chlorophyll while others do not as those cells are not the cells that make food. Everyday, our cells reproduce to replaced dead or damaged cells. The genetic material is located in the nucleus.

  17. basic things that we know about cells.

cells are the smallest units of every living thing. They enable our body to carry out a multitude of basic functions. All the cells in our body are never completely identical and all cells that have a nucleus contain an chemical compound called DNA(deoxyribonucleic acid) This chemical compound determines how we look and how we behave. Cells can only reproduce by cell division and through budding.
